The Mission!
At Wildcats we aim to keep our classes well organized and effective while allowing for the creativity and self-expression of every student. We are dedicated to creating an athletic experience that is both exciting and comfortable and classes that are safe, fun and productive. As a limited liability company we are out to prove that a business can run primarily as a benefit to society. See the About and Mews pages on our website for more about us. If you have any questions, please contact us at 207-899 8015 or [email protected].
When will Wildcats open?
We plan to begin classes in May 2025!! Join our mailing list to be notified when registration opens by texting or emailing us at 207-899-8015 or [email protected].
Where are you located?
We will be located in Cumberland County somewhere in or around Portland.
When are classes offered?
As soon as registration is available, you will be able to see class days and times. Please note: Wildcats will generally be closed on Mondays.
What age groups do you cater to?
We offer classes for kids walking to 16 years old, with open gyms for all ages and teams for older students.
Do you offer trial classes?
You can receive a full refund for any classes you have not attended up through the third class of your first session.
Do you offer make up classes?
Make up classes are hard to schedule, have poor attendance and disrupt the flow of the gym. If your gymnast is going to miss numerous classes please talk to a coach. We may be able to help.
If Wildcats has to cancel, we will reimburse you the tuition for that class. If you don’t make it to class, you can pick up an open gym pass at the front desk, on us. Limit 1 purr month.
What fees are there?
Wildcats charges no annual membership, insurance or registration fees. We are all about making things as simple, easy and clear as we can. So we include all fees, taxes, service charges, etc. in the price of tuition.
We accept cash, check, visa, mastercard, or discover.
Do you offer financial aid?
We will be implementing a financial aid and scholarship program in the future.
What if I'm late to pick up my child after class?
Parents of children 9 yrs old and younger are requested to stay in the gym or arrange for another adult at the gym to be responsible for their child/children.
Children 10 yrs and older may wait in the lobby, but should let a coach know if they’re going to be waiting.
(Policies vary for other activities.)
How do I register?
Once registration has opened, you will be able to register in person, over the phone or online through our classes page.
How and when can my gymnast move up to the next level?
If your child needs to be promoted to the next level, the coaches will alert the parent in person or electronically, and with an old fashioned piece of paper sent home with the gymnast. When a student moves up depends on a lot of different factors. If you feel your gymnast is not being challenged, please speak to his or her coach to find a solution.
What should my child wear to class?
Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing or a leotard. Avoid clothing that is overly large or bulky or has zippers or buttons. Long hair should be tied back. No rings, watches or dangly jewelry.
